Prospective Timetable for the Academic Session 2008/09
At the moment, this is purely indicative of how the seminars have taken place in the past and follows the Glasgow Caledonian University semester B timetable. Each discussion topic lasts for one week and commences on a Wednesday. Students at Glasgow are present in class for three weeks prior to the first discussion topic and a brief presentation is made to illustrate how the discussion boards will be operated, and the expectations required of them.
Wed 25 Feb - Week 1 - Discussion of the Discussion Board Rules as an introduction
Wed 04 Mar - Week 2 - Negligence
Wed 11 Mar - Week 3 - Consent
Wed 18 Mar - Week 4 - Medical Research
Wed 25 Mar - Week 5 - Disclosure of Data
Wed 01 Apr - Week 6 - Assisted Reproduction
Wed 08 Apr - Week 7 - Cloning
[Easter Break]
Wed 22 Apr - Week 8 - Transplantation

Some institutions will have longer Easter breaks, therefore some discussion or negotiation needs to take place in relation as to whether students would wish to undertake online seminars during their teaching break, or resume discussions afterwards.
